fbb is a kind of paperboard with a bleached mechanical pulp at the core and a bleached chemical pulp at the bottom. Bleached chemical pulp usually has a coating layer on the surface. The back is milky yellow, mainly because the underlying bleaching chemical slurry is not enough to completely cover the core layer, so that the yellow part of the core layer is transmitted. There are also cases of poor bleaching degree and low whiteness of the core layer slurry, and backside coating is often used to cover the underlying transmission problem. The structure of the core mechanical pulp and the surface chemical pulp gives the paper high stiffness.
